I always have a great time at the Village, whether I do a class, have a meal in the pub or attending a party! The staff members are very friendly and helpful, we are always well looked after. Couldn't request anything more! Allison, Bex, Paul, Kelly and the list could carry on with the great instructors, they go beyond every time!
Everything is just wonderful with this hotel, I can't fault anything. The staff are always welcoming in every department, especially Callum on reception, and Emily at breakfast. Nothing is too much for them. I will keep coming back for my relaxing nights away. Thank you Village.
Regularly stay here on business and the the staff are fantastic; always friendly and helpful. The sports bar, gym and coffee shop make for a busy, buzzing atmosphere. The rooms are on the small side, but the beds are comfortable, and en-suite a good size.
I use the Village at Portsmouth regularly for business trips. I return here for a number of reasons 1. The rooms are comfortable. I get a decent night’s sleep when there. 2. The facilities are great, along with the location. 3. This is the most important factor for me. I genuinely feel looked after and safe whenever I stay. I would especially like to mention Charlotte on reception for her exceptional care and personal level of service. She consistently goes out of her way to ensure that my stay (and that of my colleagues) is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her, and her kindness and professionalism make a real difference.
I recently stayed at the village hotel in a conference with about 120 other guests. I only normally leave reviews when a place or a person has delivered exceptional service. This was the case whilst staying here for the duration of the conference. Callum the gentleman that supported us worked relentlessly to make sure the whole event went smoothly and we felt completely supported the entire time we were there. Very few people in an organisation have such a commitment to his employer has he did. A credit to the Village Hotel and the team that work with him. Thank you
I had a fantastic stay here on a recent business trip. The rooms were very nice and clean, the service was excellent throughout my stay, and the hotel is in a perfect, easy-to-locate spot. I’m definitely coming back!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stayed at Village Hotel Portsmouth and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are modern, well-designed, and spotlessly clean, making them very comfortable and practical for a short stay. The bar area is lively and welcoming, with a great atmosphere to relax in the evening. Food was very good — fresh, well presented, and with a good variety on the menu, whether for breakfast or dinner. Overall, a modern, clean hotel with great facilities, friendly service, and a reliable bar and food offering. Would definitely stay again when visiting Portsmouth.
Hotels is great would’ve loved the option to have a bath in the room. The on off light of how the bathroom is it’s little weird. I would really recommend getting the swimming pool access. It was lovely to go before anyone else was there at 8 am. Breakfast was okay, not the best but Nice little bit of bacon and you get what you get really if we were in Portsmouth again, I would stay there.
